SPECIAL INVESTIGATIONS UNIT (SIU)
Insurance Fraud is the act of falsifying or exaggerating the facts of an accident to an insurance company to obtain payment that would not otherwise be made. Common types of insurance fraud are staged accidents, exaggerated injuries, and inflated medical bills.
Our Special Investigations Unit (S.I.U.) employs an entire division of associates whose sole mission is to detect, deter, and defeat insurance fraud. The division is composed mainly of individuals who have extensive law enforcement experience as well as comprehensive insurance knowledge. The procedures and controls that are deployed and entrenched within our organization, ensure the highest level of standards and quality are upheld.
